I love Mondays!!!

Don't brush me aside and label me as crazy. I only feel that way because I have a good God!!

Attended a conference by Ed Silvoso over the weekend, during which God revealed many truths and released me from many deceptions. Two of the truths were that God can and wants to work mightily in the workplace, and that He cares about my job. All I needed to do was to lend Him my hands.

Thinking about those two truths and about the 100k made me very excited last night. Had trouble sleeping as I kept thinking about all the wonderful things I wanted to do. To pray. To bless. To share. I had this great place, about who I wanted to bless and how. I had it all laid out.

Woke up earlier than normal this morning and did my quiet time, something that is very unusual for me (just ask my mom!) Prayed on the way to work and was super excited about the entire thing. Arrived at work, ready to do all that I planned only to find that the person I wanted to bless was not there yet. And I was sitting next to a friend that I never expected to share with about the 100k.

It was then that the Holy Spirit reminded me that things were not about how I wanted them to turn out. They were to be done the way God wanted them done. And no matter what, He will provide a way. What didnt I do today? I didnt share the 100k. I didnt openly pray for people. I didnt proclaim anything.

So what did I do?
I started by proclaiming that the kingdom of God is in the company and that the gates of hell shall not prevail.
I prayed for the people that sat around me to have peace and to be blessed with joy and strength.
I was watchful of the attitude and image I was projecting to the world (though that has to be worked on more.. :))
I continually prayed to the Lord and held on to the truths that He will bless others through me.

The result??
It seems like others seem to enjoy spending time with me.
I am able to smile genuinely and be friendlier to others without feeling drained/tired.
And while I didnt manage to accomplish what I had set out to do, I experienced God's love and had joy in my heart all the way.

Why??
Because God is with me.
Beause He refreshed me.
Because He released me from my fears.
Because God cares and He cares for me.

Life is never how we plan it to be.
Life is how God wants it to be.
Only then will we be able to find joy and be able to impact other people's lives positively.
