HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

2007.

I'll be turning 22 in 23 days. :(

2006 flew by. Especially the last week. I arrived back in Singapore, not really understanding that it was Christmas, and now we've crossed over into the new year. As I look back into the past year, realized that it has been an eventful and fun year. A year of growing up.

Growing to understand the Lord better. Learning the art of obedience and patience. Internship. Study abroad programme overseas.

Not only did I become an adult legally, I have become one in my thinking and decision-making. Believe that I am now more rational and unafraid of being different, focused. I am willing to voice my views and to be myself. With a softer spirit too. Learnt that I am able to do things if I put my mind to it (for example, that I am not a lu-chi like my sis always says..)

This new year will be another one of more change and challenge. More uncertainty. Last sem in Uni, graduating and then working (hopefully a month in europe before i start working). It'll be a time of testing of my faithfulness and values. Want to come out victorious, more rooted in the Lord with a heart and mind after Him.

Want to take the chance to thank a number of people:
1) God - Your constant protection and love have kept me safe. I want to remain unblemished for You.
2) My parents - Thank you for your love and generosity. Thank you for letting me leave the nest for a short while to find out my limits and to grow up.. Love you both!
3) Vanessa - Yes strawberry, thanks for your silliness and encouragement (when i see you online that is..)
4) Family - All my relatives, you guys make Singapore home!
5) Mama Wanting - Your sms' kept me sane and reminded me that I am loved and missed.
6) My Spiritual Family - Love how you guys tag my blog and show your care and concern..
7) Bestest Friend - I love your msn messages though I am away most of the time.. ;)
8) Mingbao - Only you can keep me calm about the job applications.
9) Friends - Love to read my tagboard and your sms'. You guys make me look forward to coming home.
