falling in love once again

Being in love is the most amazing thing that can happen to you. Though I have never fallen in love with another human being, this weekend, I have once again fallen in love with my Lord.

Just gotten back from the retreat in New Hampshire. It is a beautiful place in the forest. The air was crisp, the leaves in the midst of changing colours and the people warm and loving. And I was able to hook up with God again!!

After being here for a month, away from home, family and friends, I guess I started to lose sight of God, His love and my purpose for being here. This weekend served as a reminder. Of my reason for living. Of my reason for being. Of Him.

I can't even begin to describe the feelings I have inside. It is just so wonderful, to know with all you heart and soul that you are intimately known by another, intensely loved by another, deeply desired by another. To be able to love someone in that same way is just awesome. It is so much easier to smile now.

I thank God that He has perfect knowledge about me. I thank Him for His perpetual presence. I thank Him for making me a purposeful creation. I want to jump head in, to simply fall in love with Him each and every day.
