Updating my blog in the midst of doing my laundry now. Know that it is late (0041 in the morning) to be doing it but well, this is the time where most of the machines are available. :)
Had a nice weekend doing quite a bit of things. Went to Wrentham Outlets with my roommates. They are so sweet!! Drove me there (it takes approx 1 hour to get there by car) and let me go to all the places that I wanted to. It was so exciting cos we arrived at abount 6 plus and had 3 hours before the shops closed. As my friend from Denmark, Julie says, we had to power shop!! Bought quite a bit of stuff at a pretty good price. Below are pictures of all my finds over the past few weeks..

We had a nice dinner at Uno Chicago Steak House. I ate this pizza called the Cheeseburger Deep Dish pizza and it was AMAZING!! Have some leftovers which I think I'll eat it as breakfast in the morning. Headed back home and simply crashed into bed. Can't believe that power shopping can make you so tired!!
Woke up early on Sat to attend my friend, Andrew's church. It's called the Cambridge Church of Seventh-Day Adventists. Had to dress up (he wore a suit!!), thank goodness I brought 1 skirt with me. We hitched a ride from his friend Sara. It's a small family church and the service is very different from ours at FCBC. Cos of the area, it is predominately black so the music was wicked good. God has truly given this people a talent through their voices. The sermon was on how we need God and that we must be obedient to Him in every area of our lives. A timely reminder.
Went back on campus to rest for a bit before going grocery shopping. My roomie N-E-M (her real name is ann marie) drove me to shaws and I bought a ton of snacks. Reeses buttercups. Popcorn. Ritz bits. Chip ahoys. Goldfish. Wheat thins. Lays chips. All unhealthy food. And I'm starting to get used to the food here. Think I'm starting to get used to the portions too!! Sigh, therefore the need for the gym.
At around 5, our whole suite (a total of 8 of us) went out to celebrate Mer's 20th birthday. Happy birthday Mer!! We went glow bowling and had dinner at this place called LongHorn. It was really fun and I learnt a new way of bowling from Vic. Ate steak for dinner. DELICIOUS!! Had a bit of drama on the way home as the shuttles we cancelled. We ended up taking a cab back onto campus and N-E-M went to lodge a complaint with the campus police. Dropped by another friend, Jarrod's 22nd b'day party for a bit and headed home for cake and ice-cream. We bought the cutest Uggs slippers for Mer.

Stayed in the whole of today to rest and do some homework. Ordered in chinese takeout for dinner. It wasn't the best but well, its good enough for now. Will be stayin in to do homework for the week. Going to Marthas Vineyard on Sat for a day trip. Heard that it's really beautiful. Will take pictures for you guys. Heading for Chicago from the 7th to 10th of Oct. Excited about all the upcoming roadtrips! Update you guys again soon..
