Hey everyone, very sorry I haven't been updating my blog regularly but have been in the midst of settling in. Haven't been doing much sight-seeing. There seems to be quite a bit of other stuff to do. Had my first classes yesterday and today. Changed one of them as it required A LOT of work. Pray that it will go through back home. Their classes are no joke, have to do a lot of readings and pre-preparation plus numerous assignments and projects. Don't know if I'll be able to go traveling! Have to plan it all out.
Went to see the doctor today for a follow up. My ankle's all better and I'm not wearing the brace anymore or anything. Thank you Lord for healing me. :) Still can't do heavy exercise or anything though. Got some good news from Victoria today. Apparently a few of her friends have moved into my area and they are willing to take me to church!! YAY!! Praise God. It's been a tough time not having the spiritual support over here. Am looking forward to attending service and eating some real Chinese food. Yum.
Talked to my family and friends over Skype on Sunday morning cos they celebrated Vanessa's birthday. Happy belated birthday sis. Love ya lots. Pray that God will continue to use you and cause you to rise up in His name, making waves among the young people today for Him. My family are now in Taiwan and I miss talking to them!! Hope they're having fun and that they'll remember to buy something nice for me. Heehee.
Nothing much has been happening over here. Went to a few parties with my friends just to hang out and talk. Went bowling (or rather I kept the score for them cos I couldn’t bowl) and watched a movie. It's difficult to get around since I don’t have a car so we're all pretty much stuck on campus. Think I'll be joining a few activities on campus. Am going to a beginners Latin dance class tonight to have a look see. Want to learn how to salsa if possible. Plus it's free!!
