The day is drawing nearer. Getting pumped up for the trip. Crazy!!! Thanks to each and everyone of you for your encouragement, prayers and support. Know that it's God's way of reminding me that yes, He is with me all the time. :)

So now, it's been another busy few days. Went out with bestest friend on Thursday. It was so tiring cos the both of us shopped from one end of orchard road to the other. She was buying birthday presents for wenling's 21st and I was shopping for clothes that could be tumble dried. Talk about difficult. Cos of our weather, most of the clothes are made of materials that cannot be dried in the washer (if you are stubborn and still choose to tumble dry them, expect your clothes to shrink to nothingness..) Every time I manage to find a store with tees that can be tumble dried, I go ballistic! Start laughing my evil laugh and then go on ripping through the display to find some nice designs. (You can ask Jac if this is true) Muahahahaha. Managed to find the stuff I needed. Bought so many things that Jac had to pack some into her backpack too. Luckily I carried my crumpler that day.. :)

Met Rachel after to go to wenling's place & surprise her with a bouquet of flowers. You girls are so sweet. And then went to Jac's place to eat her father's famous chicken rice. So delicious!!! Thanks so much uncle.. Know that I won’t be able to find anything like that in Boston. The day ended on a sweet note with my bestest friend giving me a ride home. Jac, you're a good driver ok? Dun need to be nervous and stuff. You can now stare in initial D. Just kidding. Feel very privileged to be the first non-family member to be sitting in her car. Thanks babe.

Went marketing with my mom for Saturday's BBQ. She bought a ton of food (like, 9kg of chicken wings + much more!!) While she was marinating the food, I went to cut & colour my hair. Took quite a while cos I highlighted and dyed the whole head. And according to my sis, I look like a carrot.. Sigh.. Have to admit it is a bit bright but hey, got to be adventurous once in a while right? Guess I need more time to get used to it. Am starting to love it more as time goes. And please don't call me a carrot when you see me ok? :)

Spent the rest of the afternoon in town with my mom and sis to get some other knick-knacks. Been spending so much time in town that think I'll miss it when I'm away!! At night, went to Settlers Café in katong with my cell group. It was awesome!!! Played many games and ate a lot of food. Screamed. Shouted. Fought. It was a time of great passion & enthusiasm. There was one game which required us to scold and curse one another. We played it for a while and then couldn't carry on. All of us felt it was not edifying and didn't want to be responsible for sending the other to encounter weekend. Think our pastors will be so proud of us. :) Some scandalous stuff happened. Played this game where the aim of it was to not get married. By the end of 2 rounds, junbin & Andrew were cohabitating and planning to get married. Hmmm... Just kidding. We were all teasing the both of them cos they both lost during the 2 rounds. I simply love my family!!

Had a great party yesterday with my family and a few of my friends. Thanks for each and every present. You've all been great blessings in my life. Thanks for your prayers too. Please do continue to pray though. Heehee. There was so much food. My mom has got to be a super-penguin. She always pulls such stuff off!! Thanks mommy. Wonder if it's a gift that is hereditary. We'll see.

Must mention a dear sis of mine: Maggie!! Thanks for making the effort to come down even though it was late and for staying even later!! Sorry for not saving some of the good stuff for you and for only feeding you with a few measly chicken wings. Next time will feed you better!! Really love spending time with you and talking to you. Will miss your corniness and wittiness.

Final service at FCBC before I go off. FCBC is 20!! Happy birthday to you! Really thank God for the chance to have an awesome and touching celebration before I leave. Spent some time with the 'family' after that. Took so many retarded/funny/embarrassing pictures with everyone. So fun!! Believe we were super noisy and silly. Thanks bell for letting me use your camera. Really appreciate it. Will post some when I receive them. :)

Talking about cameras, found that mine was giving me problems. Bought a Casio digital camera a few weeks back and the screen kept going blank on me. Asked my cousin Chris (he's an amazing photographer, let me know if you need one for your wedding.. ;) ) whether this was normal. He said it wasn't so asked my parents to help me exchange it. Expected it to be really difficult and prayed about it. At that point when I prayed, God told me the issue was settled but I was still worried. My dad called later to tell me that everything went smoothly. The salesperson just gave me a new camera. Wow, isn't my God capable of anything and everything? Know that I'm blessed.

Anyway, received a cute lil' something from my honey-bun aka ms wee meng poh!! Yes, she's a yellow giraffe with blue ears and she's all prepared for cold weather (she has a blue scarf around her neck). Decided to name her honey after the bao that bought her. :)

Why did she buy me a giraffe? That's cos da jie bought her one last year and I told her I wanted one too. Thank you so much for remembering honey bun. Really love my honey bun and lil' giraffe. She'll accompany me to Boston (honey that is.)

Went to marina square to buy a few things and meet up with jac, pinji & regina to go k-box. Snuck food into the place and sang from 730 to 1130. Teased and laughed at one another. Entertainment at its best!! Must do it again girls. 4 months without k-box. I'll miss it...

Bought my sis her birthday pressie as well as a lil' something from my earnings during attachment. A pair of golden crocs + ring = broke jie jie = happy mei mei. Got the same ring as her. 'Crowned' it a sister ring. Believe it'll remind us both of one another when I'm away. The ring is silver with stones embedded around the rim. Very pretty and feminine. Hope you like it pooh.

Another busy day ahead. Looking forward to meeting jodi & Valerie as well as my sa friends (yes, another one of us is legally becoming an adult.) Busy as a bee! Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
