back from vacation..

I'm home!! Have returned from my short 'holiday' at my grandmama's place. Was like a crazy woman, lugging all my stuff to the car this morning. Carried a total of 5 bags!! It looked as if I had been staying there for a month or something.. Haha, oh well, a girl needs her essentials, even when she's away at home or on holiday..

Want to thank God for my time there. Though I'm out of the house most of the time and only spend my nights there, it's a gentle reminder that my grandmother loves and cares for me. No matter how late I return home, I would always find her downstairs, waiting for me in the living room. Thanks grandma..

Been quite a busy time. Either getting my things ready for Boston or meeting up with friends & family. A non-stop lunch, dinner, lunch dinner meeting. Went for the 'Day of His Power' prayer meet last night. It was a good time of praying together as a nation. At the end, the stadium was darkened & everyone used their handphones as 'candles'. Was a beautiful sight, as if it was the sky covered in a blanket of stars. Kind of reminds me that in this dark world, God has called each and everyone of us to be lights for Him, to shine and lead others towards Him. Can now see how effective we can truly be for Him if we want to..

My sis fell down the stairs at the start of the event. Poor her, injured and all. Had to park in Taka today just because she can't walk too much. Expensive parking!! Pray that she gets well soon. Dun wear your heels for a while k, at least not for the next 2-3 days. If not you won't be able to shop when we go to KL!! :)

Before the event, went to get a manicure & pedicure. It felt soooooo good!! The massage, scrub, moisturizing... Sigh... Haha, love being pampered.. :) Hmmm, think I got it from my mama, Wanting. Sigh, it's so difficult being a princess.... :)

Celebrated our nation's birthday at Qingyu's place today. Thank you, Marcus & sis for letting us invade your space. It's a nice place to chill & have fun. Started eating the moment I stepped into her house. Man, my cell group really knows how to bond over food. Some people bond over sports or game, we bond while we chew... As Steve described it, it was a time of fellowship & fattening... And it seems like that's all we do. Eat... Fellowship... Eat... Fellowship... Eat and eat and eat again... There were sandwiches, chicken wings, salads, fruits, cupcakes, 2 types of cheesecakes, pizza, grilled chicken, chips... I actually brought ice-cream & graham crackers but ended up bringing it home cos we couldn't finish it all!! Guess the greatest part of it all was the openness among each & everyone present. Loved the fact that everyone was very candid & spontaneous, teasing & feeding one another. Took some silly pictures & watched Singapore Idol together, taking turns giving 'constructive criticism'. I'm really part of a great, loving family!! Blessed by all my bros & sis' in Christ. Will miss you guys lots..

Spent some time talking with mama & Qingyu. You girls seem to be very concerned & worried about my safety huh.. Don't worry too much okie? The good Lord goes before me & will keep me safe in His arms. Know that I shouldn't do anything stupid or put myself in compromising situations. Just remember to keep me in prayer..

Have nothing planned for tomorrow. Looking forward to a day of just sleeping in and watching some telly. The 40 day fast is over, can now watch tv again!! (Chose to fast from telly so that can spend more time with God..) Planet shakers concert on fri!! Can't wait to go & jump & shout.. Shake the planet for Jesus!! Hope to cya guys there... Tata..
